Turbo Technics has worked with a number of OEMs over many years to provide a comprehensive remanufacturing service for passenger car turbos. Typically, these feed directly into their parts exchange programmes and are based on units provided from dealer surcharged old core. The Northampton production facility has a designated production area for rebuilding turbochargers, which are built to original specifications, and can support a variety of production and assembly processes.
The dedicated in-house turbocharger engineering team can design and develop any turbo component which is needed for remanufactured turbochargers. All turbochargers are balanced and set using TT’s high speed VSR™ balancing and VTR flow calibration equipment which have been designed to replicate the OE processes and are also used by a number of OE turbo manufacturers.
