EXTENSIVE RANGE
REMANUFACTURED TURBOS BY TURBO TECHNICS
Turbo Technics remanufactured turbos are assembled and calibrated in a dedicated turbo workshop. The exchange turbo range covers most car and light commercial vehicle models, along with many hard-to-locate variants.
The process of remanufacturing a turbo returns it to the vehicle manufacturer’s original factory specification. In contrast with reconditioning, where minimal repairs and cleaning may be done, a remanufactured turbo will provide performance, reliability and lifespan equal to that of the original.
TT OPERATION
REMANUFACTURING PROCESS
Remanufacturing can be a cost-effective option to replace a faulty component. The original turbo is dismantled, cleaned and inspected by our experienced technicians. All wearing parts are replaced as a matter of course, while other major components are inspected, cleaned, and replaced or renovated as required.
Every remanufactured turbo has all bearings, piston ring seals, O-rings, nuts and bolts renewed. These and any additional components are replaced with parts manufactured in-house or from trusted quality suppliers.
REMANUFACTURED TURBOCHARGER
CALIBRATION
Each turbo is rebuilt in accordance with the original specification and the core assembly (or CHRA) is balanced using Turbo Technics VSR™ high speed core balancing equipment. All variable geometry turbos are flow calibrated to match manufacturer’s specifications using Turbo Technics VTR flow test equipment.
All remanufacturing takes place at Turbo Technics UK production facility. A comprehensive in-house manufacturing and quality control system ensures the integrity of the final product, backed by Turbo Technics’ warranty.
