Turbo Technics Makes Waves in Time Attack 2024 with Dual Car Entry

For the first time, Turbo Technics are running two cars in Time Attack for 2024.

The company’s Fiesta ST Mk 8 is being driven by Martyn Cowley, and the Focus is being driven by Geoff Kershaw.

Martyn is an experienced drift driver, having competed successfully over several seasons and brings a wealth of driving experience.

The first two meetings of the year took place at Anglesey on 20/21 April. Martyn came third in the first, and won the Clubman class in the second.

The third meeting was at Cadwell Park where Martyn brought the Fiesta home in second place.

For these races, the Fiesta was basically stock but with a Turbo Technics stage 1 turbo system and re-map, and a larger intercooler. Further upgrades will appear as the season progresses.

Geoff’s Focus was running with a new Drenth sequential gearbox, following two disastrous seasons with the earlier ‘box. This worked well, and allowed him to accumulate some confidence-boosting laps.

Turbo Technics also supports Ben Robinson in his Noble. Ben came a very close second in the first two rounds, and won the Cadwell round.

The next round is at Brands Hatch on Saturday 15th June.
