Turbo Technics was recently presented with a rare and exciting challenge: the restoration of a pair of turbochargers from a legendary Ferrari F40. With the original units in poor condition — and several critical components not available — the project demanded both precision and ingenuity.
Drawing on the expertise of TT’s engineering department and the capabilities of its in-house manufacturing facility, the team successfully reverse-engineered the unavailable parts to original factory specifications. The turbochargers were then fully rebuilt and high-speed balanced to ensure optimal performance.
The result? A revitalised Ferrari F40, now running exactly as it should — boosting its way back to the performance levels this iconic supercar is known for.
